TLC’s newest reality series, Bad Hair Day, is a transformational medical series. The show launched officially on August 24th and follows three doctors as they treat patients with conditions such as alopecia, trichotillomania, and unwanted hair growth. Bad Hair Day is shining a light on the dermatologists and hair restoration experts who focus on hair issues, restoring confidence and hope by addressing hair loss.
Kansas City’s very own Dr. Meena Singh is featured as a hair restoration expert on this TLC reality series. As a board-certified dermatologist, dermatologic surgeon, and Mohs surgeon, Dr. Singh specializes in hair restoration and hair transplants. She practices at KMC Dermatology and KMC Hair Center, focusing on personalized hair restoration. Dr. Singh attended Harvard Medical School, the Mayo Clinic for dermatology residency, and a highly competitive hair restoration fellowship at the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Meena Singh has been featured on the cover of The New York Times and has numerous publications including a hair transplant textbook and piece in The New England Journal of Medicine.
